Dear Mr. Spalding:

 

I am in receipt of your latest correspondence dated January 16, 2002.

 

I take issue with your recent letter. My previous correspondence was responsive to your November 26, 2001 letter. You indicated a Judicial Assistant did not conduct herself appropriately. You did not identify the person. I can hardly take corrective measures if you do not identify the person, specify the facts, or the case involved.

 

I indicated that judges receive mandatory education for gender bias issues. Judicial Assistants aren't funded by the State for any continuing education. Maybe, it would be a worthwhile project for your organization to lobby the legislature for resources to expand judicial education to include Judicial Assistants.
