To Whom It May Concern:

My Name is Mr. Collins, my drivers license has been suspended a

least 4 times ,do to non payment or late payment of child support. In 1998 working for Popular entertainment restaurant and in 1999 working for A transport and Transfer company. My child support was paid each week in full. My occupation is a truck driver, and without

my drivers license .you take away my lively hood and my transportation to see my

children, and I find it hard if not impossible to make or even catch up on my payments.

As in a letter attached I paid  $1000.00 in the month of June to reinstate my license and

signed an agreement to pay a total of $3500.00 by 7/04/01. knowing that was impossible

to reach in 30 days, I had no choice but to sign and try to make it with no success. My

drivers license again was suspended putting me out of work. There must be a way for me

to keep my drivers license, so that I can make a living, so I can make the support

payments. Suspending my license helps no one, myself, or my children, Please look in

to this matter as soon as possible. This truly is a no win situation all around for my

children or myself. This law of suspending licenses should be changed, and I am sure

that I am not the only father in this situation. I hired the services of  an Attorney , giving him a $500.00 retainer back on march or April 2001 to do a modification on my support case with Sandra. Never hearing anything about the case again. This is about one of the three cases

of support that I have pending.

After my divorce I started paying support for my three children, my oldest is 20 years old, and the agency Has Not taken her off of my support why is this the case and why has it taken so long for this problem to be corrected. My Ex wife is moving to New York as of 8/12/01, I will be the custodial parent of my 16 and 11 year old. I will need my license to make a living , so I can support my children and myself. Please look into this matter as soon as possible. I would greatly appreciate a response soon.
